Bungalow Cottage

General Info     

                  We offer cottages with a difference!  We have 4 & 6 bedroom vacation homes. They are NOT WATERSIDE, but; there are lots of water activities nearby in the immediate area. Swimming is available at the Durham Conservation Area, about a 10 minute drive away. Golfing, is available at the Homestead  Golf & Country Club, a 5 minute drive. Stock car racing on Saturday evenings is only 10  minutes away.  For the kids, you might want to consider booking in a week at the summer camps offered at  the Glen Meadow Equestrian Centre. And don,t forget about our stocked trout ponds that are only a 10 minute drive from the houses. The ponds are stocked with brook,brown, rainbow trout, & Large-Mouth  Bass.   If  you are looking to accommodate a group as large as 20, view our Main House as well, because these 2 homes are located on the same property. What to Bring 

• Your own towels

• Garbage bags
• Dish soap ,dishwasher detergent
• Toilet paper
• Kitchen tea towels and dish cloths
• Enough sheets & pillow cases for 4 double beds
• Laundry soap for the cottages that have automatic washers if you choose to do laundry on site    
• Drinking water: If you are used to the chlorinated water in the city, you might want to bring some bottled water. All houses have well water, which is perfectly safe, but; may have a slightly different taste than what you are used to.
• Cell phone or calling card. None of the cottages have phones. Make sure that your phone has range in the cottage country calling area, if you are relying on a cell phone.

  Garbage Disposal:  During weekend visits, there will be a $10.00 fee for removal of garbage from the cottages to the landfill site. During the summer months, the fee is $20.00 per cottage. This fee can be left at the cottage, at the time of your departure.
