Wasaga Beach & Sauble Beach
Located near Collingwood, on Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach is the longest fresh water beach
in the world. It's one of Ontario's most popular summer attractions with miles of sandy
white beaches. Wasaga is a busy tourist destination. Sauble Beach near Southampton, on
Lake Huron, is also a must for the avid beach goer.

The Durham Art Gallery offers a large area of exhibition space in two galleries. Gallery 1 is spacious with high ceilings. Gallery 2 is a multipurpose room which is home to the Singout Cafe and occasional workshops.
It is an important regional gallery as approximately 60% of the exhibiting artists are from the areas of Grey, Bruce and North Wellington. The balance of exhibitors originate from other parts of the province, Canada and abroad.
The programming mandate of the Gallery is to provide a centre committed to the presentation, education and understanding of contemporary art. Over its 20-year history the Gallery has presented monthly exhibitions of work in all media including fine art, craft, video, performance and new media.
Community of Durham situated on the Saugeen River hosts a Snow Fest
each winter and the Wood Show & Herb fair in the summer. A 5 to a 10 minute drive from
any of our vacation homes will get you to the . Durham Conservation Area is a great place
to go swimming and only a moments walk from the heritage walkway which will also lead you
to the Durham Art Gallery. Also numerous shops & restaurants. Wilmer Pond Cottages are
located near Durham Ontario, 15 minutes from 101 things to see and do.
